If you have never been here before, get ready for a big surprise. The Moorings Inn is located right on the waterfront overlooking a spectacular panoramic view of the ocean, the entrance to Somes Sound, Bear Island Lighthouse, mountains on Mount Desert Island, and numerous sailing yachts and lobster boats. This is a treasured spot on the island and your suite or room at the Moorings Inn provides the ideal place to stay while visiting Acadia National Park. Remember that Mansell Boat Rental Co. is also on the premises if you want to take advantage of this service.
